Abstract:
A new method is presented for on board determination of bromide concentrations in seawater with use of a bromide ion-selective electrode with (accuracy of +/-3 %). The activity coefficient of bromide ions in seawater with 35 per mil salinity was also determined and found to be 0.638 +/- 0.010.
