Age determination: doi:10.1594/PANGAEA.740061. Method: Faegri and Iverson (1964): KOH treatment, then HF followed by acetolysis. Mounted in safranin stained glycerine jelly. Samples with high siliceous content were treated with HF for longer than recommended by Faegri and Iverson i.e. 1 hour at 95° C in 40% HF.
