The following data are based on P vs. E measurements performed with samples from different depths (measurements of carbon uptake in 4 hour incubations) and on the measurements of air PAR (every 5 minutes) and underwater PAR (during the CTD casts). The areal values were integrated down to the depth of 0.1 % subsurface PAR.
