The age model was constructed by correlation of 27 tiepoints between the oxygen isotopic record of Site 983 and a reference signal derived by combining the record of SU90-08 (Vidal et al., 1997 doi:10.1016/S0012-821X(96)00192-6) from 0 to 130 ka with the SPECMAP record of Martinson et al. (1987 doi:10.1016/0033-5894(87)90046-9) for 130 to 350 ka.
