Comment:
Data on the bulk salt-free basis of sediments. The carbonate fraction (CaCO3) was leached by 4 hours treatment by 10% acetic acid. Leach-2 fraction was leached from the carbonate-free fraction by 3 hours treatment by mixed acid-reducing agent (1 M NH2OH•HCl and 25% acetic acid) after Chester and Hughes (1967; doi:10.1016/0009-2541(67)90025-3). Leach-3 fraction was leached from the after Leach-2 rest by 3 hours treatment by hot HCl.
