Ages were obtained using the magnetostratigraphy data reported by Chave (1984) and age interpretation made by Shackleton and Hall (1984). The K/T boundary is assumed to have an absolute age of 64.5 Ma. based on recent precise determinations of the age of the K/T boundary (Izett et al., 1991).
