Tephra markers and radiocarbon dates in the interval between the Saksunarvatn ash and Hekla 4 in core MD99-2275 were calibrated with Oxcal v3.10 (Bronk Ramsey, 2001) using the marine model calibration curve Marine04 (Hughen et al., 2004)
