Comment:
Substrate: mollusc shell; Sampled by M. Touret and identified by E. Topsent as 'Cliona nodosa'. Recognised as a new species by C. Schönberg. All measurements are of mature, fully formed oxeas, but smaller sample size does not allow statistical comparison with other samples. Measurements conducted by C. Schönberg on tissue preparation made by E. Topsent. Data are sorted vertically by spicule width.; Topsent, E. (1889) Quelques spongiaires de Banc de Campêche et de la Poite-à-Pître. Mémoirs de la Société Zoologique de France 2: 1-23 (MNHN DT 2534?: p. 20).
