Substrate: rubble (piece of coralline alga?); Sampled and originally described as 'Aka labyrinthica' by T. Cruz, identified as new species by C. Schönberg. All measurements are of mature, fully formed oxeas to allow statistical comparison with other samples. Measurements conducted by C. Schönberg on preparation of acid-cleaned spicules made by C. Schönberg. Data are sorted vertically by spicule width.; Cruz-Simó, Tomás (2002) Esponjas marinas de Canarias.
