Substrate: live Montastrea annularis; Sampled and identified by K. Rützler. All measurements are of mature, fully formed oxeas to allow statistical comparison with other samples. Measurements conducted spicules by C. Schönberg on preparation of acid-cleaned spicules made by C. Schönberg. Data are sorted vertically by spicule width.; Rützler, Klaus (1971) Bredin-Archbold-Smithsonian Biological Survey of Dominica: burrowing sponges, genus Siphonodictyon Bergquist, from the Caribbean. Smisthonian Contributions to Zoology 77: 1-37 (USNM 24094: pp. 4-5, Fig. 10, Pl. 2 and 8).
