Numerous measurements of C. wuell are unreliable due to a defective ventile-membrane. Obviously false d18O values are not joined in the fig. According H. Erlenkeuser, d13C values can also deviate by as much as 0.5 ‰; offset in d13C niveau between -1 and -2 is more difficult to explain if there is overlap between these cores (see Core Fit)
