Most of the data were generated at either Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) (Finnigan MAT 252) or University of California (CAL) at Berkeley (VG Prism II). A smaller amount was analyzed at Cambridge University (VG Prism II) and at the Massachusett Institute of Technology (MIT) (VG Prism III).
