Sampling was carried out by means of photo-transects taken by SCUBA-divers with an Olympus E-M5 OM-D camera in a Nauticam housing and two external Inon D-200 Type 4 strobes, mounted on an aluminium frame (50 x 50 cm). This dataset was generated in the frame of the co-operation between the Huinay Scientific Field Station (http://www.huinay.cl) and the Alfred Wegener Institute, Helmholtz Center for Polar and Marine Research, Helmholtz Center for Polar and Marine Research (http://www.awi.de).
