Ref. data cited as Archer 1996: "Historical data for the distribution of calcium carbonate in coretop sediments was compiled from the literature. The data was presented by Biscaye et al. (1976, doi:10.1029/JC081i015p02595), Berger et al. (1976, doi:10.1029/JC081i015p02617), Cweink (1986), and Kolla et al. (1976, doi:10.1029/JC081i015p02605). Much of the data originated in the Scripps sedimentological data set, compiled by Gustaf Arhenius and colleagues". See doi:10.1594/PANGAEA.56017 for the Archer data-compilation. Antarctic shelf data were extracted and quality controlled from the global data compilation by Seiter et al. (2004, doi:10.1016/j.dsr.2004.06.014).
