The dataset is complimentary to Honjo, Susumu; Francois, Roger; Manganini, Steven J; Dymond, Jack R; Collier, Robert W (2000): Particle fluxes to the interior of the Southern Ocean in the Western Pacific sector along 170°W, Deep Sea Research II, 47(15-16), 3521-3548, doi:10.1016/S0967-0645(00)00077-1. Numbers represent the calculated diatom flux as recorded by the mooring, and the individual species counts. The diatom flux [#/m**2/day] was calculated using two different methods in parallel, the dilution technique by Sanceta & Silvestri, 1984 (Sancetta, C. and S. Silvestri, 1984.
