For prefix handles such as 0.NA/XYZ the namespace information applies to the namespace of handles that begin with "XYZ/". The namespace information is meant to be extensible as well as backwards compatible with older handle clients. Currently the data structure contains only an email contact for the namespace and some optional status messages that are used by the hdl.handle.net HTTP service for error messages. A more complete specification of this type will be produced. |
